Schools
A school site often has to fulfill two main aims. It is a brochure aimed at attracting pupils and their parents, and it is also a communications medium that provides all the information pupils and parents need about activities, timetables and results. Here are some of the possible features:

- Prospectus - a description of what the school offers
- Aims - the school's aims in terms of academic achievements, pastoral care, social development and extra-curricular activities
- History - the background and history of the school
- Facilities - descriptions and pictures of all the facilities offered by the school and perhaps a map of its layout to help new pupils
- Departments - details of the departments and the specific curricula for each of them
- Staff - a table of the school staff with perhaps some biographical information and qualifications
- Governors - a table of the school governors
- Admissions - admissions policies and information about visiting and viewing the school
- Activities - information about extra-curricular activities provided by the school, such as visits, sports and clubs
- Events Calendar - a comprehensive calendar function with monthly and weekly views and events divided up into categories.
- News - A variety of ways to present news, such as a blog, or a newsletter that can be downloaded
- Photo gallery - illustrate the life of the school with photos of activities
